Entry 7 β’ December 12th 2025
Good evening Harutai's diary and its readers! My name is Faun, I am the current host. I decided to write an entry as I am also a writer, I'm sure The Patient doesn't mind. γ
If you haven't noticed, I fixed up its website. There were a few bugs and mis-aligned assets. Plus, the font didn't work! Luckily, I'm a fast learner, and quickly sorted it all out. Hopefully, the website should look correct everywhere, and work as intended! You're welcome, Haru.
I also made my husband's website too! I styled it off of the official VoxTek website. He's very content; as am I. It was very easy to make!
It is currently 7pm on a Friday, which means that I get to have take-out! Even though I usually cook at home, I've made it a small tradition to treat myself and my husband once a week to some takeaway food. Today has been a plain and quiet day, although I did stock up on food from my local market today. I got some hot food from a shop for lunch, since I enjoy the hotdogs they sell! It was nice going on a walk. My physiotherapist suggested it along with my exercises (which, admittedly, I am struggling to remember to do.! π ). Winter is a nice time to walk around, however it isn't my favourite season. That would have to go to spring! I do like the extended darkness though. Night time is comforting to me. βͺ

My 20th Birthday ! β‘
I woke up to my beloved mother wishing me happy birthday, and she told me to come downstairs when I was ready to receive my cards and gifts everyone got me. I kept everyone's lovely cards. Their well wishes and kindness warms my heart! I loved all of the gifts I was given this year, specifically all of the cute Miffy things I got. Comfy Miffy pajamas that I am currently wearing! Two Miffy-themed shirts, and some peach-scented Korean body lotion. I'm very particular about my appearance and hygiene so I appreciated it! The ABSOLUTE highlight of all of my gifts was my new radio! My angel of a husband bought me a 1934 collectors edition cathedral-style radio! It's gorgeous, works perfectly (I'm listening to it now!) and because it's Christmas time, all the stations play such lovely Christmas songs! I surrounded it with my favourite flowers, which I also got for my birthday, and it's quite literally the centerpiece of my room. It's the best! I love it so much.

As for the activities... I went out in the morning to the market and got some churros and chocolate with my husband. We had a nice walk, then went back home. In the evening, I had a big meal with my husband and family. We ate at a Japanese-style restaurant (my mother's suggestion) and it was absolutely delicious! I had soup-style seafood noodles, with some small ribs which were just... perfect. It was so good. My mother's boyfriend payed for our meal so I didn't have to spend a dime! It was so lovely. Me and my husband are planning on going back there. It was so lovely, and the staff were really sweet too.
My father also spoke to me, which was surprising... He's never really reached out, and I was anticipating it to be really bad, but it ended up being a very sweet message where he sung me happy birthday and wished me well. It's very rare, but I assume it was a birthday miracle!
Not to mention the cake!! π₯° It was a chocolate and hazelnut cake. My husband got me candles so I could make a wish... I hope it comes true. Anyways, happy late birthday to me!

Obligatory life update, too!
One of the support workers I am working with is helping me with finding employment. Despite being disabled, I am still very motivated to work. We went through a lot of options together, and she thinks it's best for me to pursue floristry! Not only do I already have a hobby in floral design and botany, but it also won't be too stressful for me. So hopefully, within the next 6 months, I should be employed as a florist or a floristry clerk! I'd love to work surrounded by flowers with not too much time standing. Wish me luck! βͺ
Christmas time is coming up! I already finished my shopping for it. I hope everyone likes the gifts I've gotten them. I also got new bedsheets and a blanket, which makes the room feel very Christmas-y! Unfortunately, due to my house being half torn apart due to an asbestos removal, I won't be able to put any decorations up in my living room until the 20th. :,( But that's ok! I don't go downstairs much, and my room feels like a cosy Christmas enough. β₯οΈ It also smells like Christmas thanks to my candles and diffusers! I'm very excited for Christmas. It makes me very happy.
Overall, I'd say my life is going up! Very proud of not only myself but my husband too. We're both slowly healing together, getting better and becoming softer, more productive people. I'm hopeful for our future! I can't wait to see us grow even more!
Anyways, thank you all for reading! I hope I was just as entertaining as (if not better than) Harutai's rambling! Have a lovely rest of your year and Happy Holidays!
