Dear diary,

Happy 2026! It's been a couple of months again.. My, my, I truly live enough of a busy life, don't I? Haha, either way, I suppose I should update a little. Occupied time means lots to talk about!

First of all, a quick recap of December and the Holidays, of course...

β€” Christmas & New Years Eve 2025

Although it was almost 3 months ago now, Christmas was so wonderful! I got lots of lovely gifts, including an adorable deer/fawn poncho and a deer LPS. I love collecting little trinkets, and LPS are amongst my favourites, so it was very quaint and very captivating to me. I am more attracted to simple, gentle things. γ€œ I also spent time with my family! We played games, sung karaoke, drank our fair share of alcohol and ate our fill of delicious foods. It was pleasant, I feel like getting out and speaking to my family was nice; we got split apart a tad due to a close family member's death. I suppose, it's nice to reconnect every now and again. Overall, Christmas was very lovely. I enjoyed it a lot. β™₯️

New years, there wasn't much to say. I do not do much for New Year's eve or day, but I did drink until drunk! Me and my husband watched the countdown together and of course, as with every year since we got together, we kissed when the clock struck 12. Starting the new year with a kiss is always so magical! I feel like it sets my year right on track towards good luck and prosperity. Anyways, I passed out at around 2am after drinking all night, hehe. What's life if I don't get to indulge in the sin of intoxication every now and again?

β€” Valentine's Day 2026

Of course, how can I reminisce on important holidays and not talk about Valentine's Day? I wouldn't be able to live with myself!! (Ο€_Ο€) Being the intense insomniac I am, I woke up early (4am) with very little sleep. It didn't impact my day, as I'm used to being sleep deprived. I got a collection of thoughtful gifts from Bonnie. A few that I can remember is a Jiangshi Gloomy Bear plush, Β£300 worth of merch from a game I like and a big red Miffy mug... And of course, beautiful red roses. We had a lovely tea party for lunch with pretty cups and honey tea, which is Bonnie's favourite. I enjoy tea brewing a lot, I think I might get more into it. It should be easy, since where I live, tea is a very popular beverage, including herbal tea. But I digress.. After lunch we decorated biscuits that Bonnie baked himself! They were really good, and the icing was cute and pink. Fitting for the theme of Valentine's if you ask me. Bonnie and I then had dinner, we went out to a Japanese restaurant together (which I payed for as repayment for the gifts!), and we took the leftovers home and ate them the next day! So yummy. I had a very fulfilling and romantic day.

An absolute staple in my entries is a health update, of course! I am very sickly, so unfortunately it takes up a lot of my time, and I like to keep track of it all since I tend to forget. On the 3rd of February I was admitted to the hospital in the afternoon due to having heart palpitations. Whilst there, I got an echocardiogram, and got diagnosed with tachycardia. I have yet to get the results back, but everything seemed to be okay, except for my heart rate of course. Unfortunately, healthcare over here is rather slow. So I might not get my results or newer appointments for a while.. My gown got covered in the gel 😭. It felt awful. Luckily I was discharged the same day and so I went home late that night. It was cold and I was exhausted. Hospitals drain me so much. To make myself feel better, I took a long hot bath. πŸ’ My benefits nurse got back to me recently. I had an over the phone appointment where they asked the same questions as the form they gave me, probably just making sure everything was correct. I told them everything, including my recent tachycardia diagnosis, EDS, FM and everything else... I'm getting more money, though! I'm not too sure how much, however they are also paying for a new wheelchair for me. β™₯️ I got to pick one out myself, and I chose a lovely white one. Foldable and self-propelled. Absolutely adorable and perfect! I hope I get it soon.

I redecorated my room recently. The space I am living in is rather small, as I live in quite an awful area. I wanted to make it as liveable and gentle as possible, so I made my own white canopy over my bed. It's very pretty and quite sturdy! The hooks I used are completely cemented onto my ceiling. The curtains are all laced and made of chiffon, and I dressed them with red ribbon. It looks so whimsical during the day when the weather is nice out, and so enchanting during the night when I have my oil lamp or a candle on. Speaking of candles, I bought some red stick ones to go in my candle holders, and they fit perfectly. I enjoy having an all-white room with little bits of red as an accent. My mother said she would help me repaint my walls, and I asked her if I could have a red accent wall and she said yes! Very exciting. β™₯️

And of course, floristry/gardening updates! Currently, I only have orange carnations in my vase, as I need to get more flowers. Carnations are rather hardy flowers and don't wilt as quickly as other flowers. I might make another bouquet to add to my portfolio at some point, I'm partial to red bouquets. γ€œ My favourite flower is the red carnation, but I also adore roses and lilies. I cannot own many lilies though, because my adorable little kitty might get sick. Some of the roses I received during Valentines ended up germinating and producing seeds! Sadly, I didn't have anywhere to plant them so I took them outside and sprinkled them in the local forest. Perhaps they'll have a chance there.. γ€œ I was a little disheartened about not being able to grow my own roses; I suppose my mother noticed because she bought be a cosmos start! It was so thoughtful of her. I love receiving gifts like that. And! Absolutely perfect for now, since March-May is the time to plant them. I planted them yesterday, and they should be flowering by June. At the moment, they're being kept inside in case of sudden frost. In a few weeks, I can put them outside! I mist them every day to keep them moist. β™₯️ Horticulture and floral design are one of my favourite hobbies... I've indulged in the studies since 2022. I used to volunteer as a gardener, and redid a lovely elderly couple's entire garden. I also occasionally help do gardening around the churches and cemeteries since my mother works there. On occasion, I supply small arrangements to funerals, too. My main dream profession is to work in the medical field... But because of my beautiful curses (mental & physical disabilities) I'm not very fit to be working with patients. At least not currently. Unfortunately, for the time being, I'm working in a gentler profession in order to build up my confidence and strength. Depending on my availability, I'm considering going to a floristry college in order to get my certificate in floristry. But we'll see! I mainly would do so out of boredom. Since it's getting warmer, I'd like to go out more and visit more gardens. Maybe even do a seasonal job at a garden centre? Who knows! Opportunities are endless, and life is what you make of it.

I think that's all for now. I definitely have more to say or remember but it's currently 1:30AM and I would rather save it for next time. β™₯️ I'm going to go and devour some of Bonnie's hand-baked cookies now. Have a lovely March everyone!
